T-Rosette Strain Gauges

T-Rosette Strain Gauges

A T-Rosette Strain gauge is a strain gauge which has 2 perpendicular grids on one backing. It is also called a columnar strain gauge because it is often used in a column load cell type. This kind of strain gauge is not only used in column load cells, but is also used in applications where two perpendicular strains with known principal directions (biaxial) should be measured. Commonly these strain gauges are combined with another set of T-Rosette strain gauges, to complete a Wheatstone bridge setup.

All Zemic T-Rosette strain gauges are temperature and creep compensated and optimized for their intended application. These strain gauges are produced in our state-of-the-art production facility and carefully selected. They offer stable and reliable measurements.

We supply many variants. The product page includes a datasheet with all technical specifications, detailing the various T-Rosette strain gauge variants we offer.

To order your strain gauge(s), you can use our strain gauge selector. You can fill in the desired specifications, such as material and dimensions. When we receive the form, we will contact you and assist you further.

At Zemic we supply many variants of these type of strain gauges. For example, they differ from each other in the following characteristics:

- Grid Material; Constantan foil or Karma foil.
- Type of backing material; Modified phenolic, Special Polyimide, Special PEEK film, etc.
- Rated Resistance; varies from 100 Ohm till 1000 Ohm
- Various creep codes available
- Length of the sensitivity grid in mm
- Length and material of the wires
