T-Rosette Strain gauge

  • Strain gauge with 2 perpendicular grids on one backing.
  • Also called columnar strain gauge.
  • Used in column load cells and in applications where two perpendicular strains with known principal directions (biaxial) should be measured.
  • Constantan or karma measuring grid material
  • Special polyimide, PEEK or modified phenolic backing material
  • Available for working temperature -200 ~ +250 Celsius
  • Rated Resistance available: 100 - 1000 Ohm 
  • Various temperature compensations available (STC)
  • Various creep codes available
  • K-factor (or gauge factor): 1.8 ~ 2.3
