A Membrane Rosette strain gauge is oriented in such a way that the strain in all directions is measured at the same time. Often having 4 electrical grids on one backing, making it ideal for getting a Wheatstone bridge signal out of the measurements. The Membrane Rosette strain gauge is used when doing pressure measurements with a small metal membrane where the strain gauge will be positioned on.
All Zemic Membrane Rosette strain gauges are temperature and creep compensated and optimized for the application of use. These gauges offer stable and reliable results and are carefully selected and produced in a state-of-the-art production facility.
On the product page you will find the datasheet with all technical specifications. This shows which variants of the Membrane Rosette gauge we can supply.
To order your strain gauge(s), you can also use our strain gauge selector. You can choose the exact specifications of the strain gauge you need (like material and dimensions) and then we will contact you, to help you further.
We supply many different variants. They differ in the following characteristics:
- Grid Material; Constantan foil or Karma foil.
- Type of backing material; Modified phenolic, Special Polyimide
- Rated Resistance; varies from 120 Ohm till 2000 Ohm
- Length of the sensitivity grid in mm
- Wiring length and material.
