Double Shear Strain gauge

  • Two measuring grids on one backing which are positioned in a V-shape with a 90° angle towards each other.
  • Commonly used when torque or shear must be measured but when space is limited.
  • Constantan or karma measuring grid material
  • Special polyimide, PEEK or modified phenolic backing material
  • Working temperature available: -200 ~ +250 Celsius
  • Rated Resistance available: 175 - 2000 Ohm 
  • Various temperature compensations available (STC)
  • Various creep codes available
  • K-factor (or gauge factor): 1.8 ~ 2.3
