Linear Strain gauges

Linear strain gauges

Zemic offers a wide range of linear strain gauges.

Linear strain gauges are the most common strain gauges in the field of force sensors and experimental stress analysis. Linear strain gauges have a single measuring grid directed into one direction. The strain gauges are used when strain in a single direction (Uniaxial stress) is to be measured. All Zemic linear strain gauges are temperature and creep compensated and optimized for the application of use.

Zemic linear strain gauges offer a stable and reliable result and are carefully selected and produced in a state-of-the-art production facility.

On the product page you will find the datasheet with all technical specifications. This shows which variants of the linear strain gauge we can supply.

To order your strain gauge(s), you can also use our strain gauge selector. You can choose the exact specifications of the strain gauge you need (like material and dimensions) and then we will contact you to help you further.

We offer many different variants. They differ in the following characteristics:

- Grid Material; Constantan foil or Karma foil.
- Type of backing material; Modified phenolic, Special Polyimide, Special PEEK film, etc.
- Rated Resistance; varies from 120 Ohm till 5000 Ohm
- Length of the sensitivity grid in mm
- Self temperature or self elastic modulus compensation code.
