Double shear strain gauges
Double Shear Strain Gauges
Double shear strain gauges are designed to have two measuring grids on one backing which are positioned in a V-shape with a 90° angle towards each other. These strain gauges are commonly used when a torque or shear measurement must be performed but when space is limited. An example of this is a shear beam sensor or a torque sensor. Commonly, these strain gauges are combined with another set of double shear strain gauges to complete a Wheatstone bridge setup.
All Zemic double shear strain gauges are temperature and creep compensated, optimized for their specific applications. They are carefully selected, manufactured in a state-of-the-art production facility and provide stable and reliable results.
We offer a may variants, each differing in characteristics, like material, rated resistance, dimensions of the grid, wires, etc.
On the product page, you will find the datasheet with all technical specifications, detailing the variants of the double shear strain gauges we offer. To order your strain gauge(s), you can use our strain gauge selector, allowing you to specify the exact requirements such as material and dimensions. Once you submit your selection, we will contact you to assist you further.
