Preventive and restrictive measures have been taken by the Dutch government, such as closing of schools until the 28th of April.

Production: Our production lines are recovering. At this moment the average production capability of all production lines is 65%. We expect 100% recovery will be reached on the 2nd of March.
Logistics: As from today trucks can get into Shanghai. This means the first air and seafreight shipments addressed to Zemic Europe will leave our factory at the end of this week.
Zemic is a sustainable business which minimizes our impact on the environment. We are happy to announce that we have achieved the ISO 14001 certificate. With this certificate we demonstrate that our company is actively taking measures to limit our impact on the environment.

The winners of the 2019 edition of the Automation Inside Readers Choice Awards have been announced. Zemic Europe wins in the category 'Best Identification Technologies'.
Our European Centre of Competence and distribution warehouse is based in The Netherlands. We are located very close to the harbour in Rotterdam, we receive boat shipments every two weeks. We also have air shipments from our manufacturing plant every two weeks. The airports in Eindhoven and Rotterdam and Amsterdam are only 1 hour away. It is also possible to have express shipments from China to Europe (4 day delivery).

As a designer and manufacturer of millions of straingages and miniature sensors Zemic has developed itself as a specialist of custom made miniature sensors.
Project MARCH is a student team of the TU Delft which is involved in the development of a user-friendly and versatile exoskeleton, a motorized robotic suit, that can be used to help people with a spinal cord injury to stand up and walk again.

During the festive season Zemic Europe will only be closed on the 25th, 26th and 27th of December and on the 1st January, otherwise it will be business as usual.

Predictive maintenance is being developed in many market sectors
Thursday 3rd of October 2019, Maarten Kleemans and Corné van Gool from Zemic Europe visited JADS (Jheronimus Academy of Data Science). JADS and Co-host MEUNGO organised the event CBM and Predictive Maintenance. When you can predict an unplanned downtime for your application by steering on anomalies, costs will reduce and performances will be optimized. The market is changing from reactive service to proactive service.
